After BF by 8 AM depart for Petite France. It takes about 90 mins from Seoul to Petite France

Petite France is a French-style theme park that was constructed in July 2008 in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is a small French village .Petite France is made up of museums, workshops, restaurants, cafes and guesthouses.It is about 90 mins from Seoul to Petite France by coach. On the way to the main gate of the Petite France, you will find a map of the entire village.  It will help you look around the village more efficiently. Lots of famous K-dramas were filmed here. There are a variety of places to visit inside the village including their own exclusive theater for marionette, cafes, restaurant and outdoor places to have a cup of coffee, eat and take a rest.

After spending about 1 ½ to 2 hrs.,.in Petite France, head to Nami Island, which will take about 20 minutes & have lunch here.First we reach Gapyeong Wharf, from here  the ferry to Nami Island which takes about 5 -10 minutes.  A tram and tour bus going around the island are available for those who do not like to walk. Bicycle rental is also another option.

Nami Island is a half-moon shaped formed as the land around it was inundated by the rising water of the North Han River as the result of the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam in 1944. Its name originates from General Nami, who died at the age of 28 after being falsely accused of treason during the reign of King Sejo. When you get off the ferry, you can find a supermarket near the gate where you can buy snacks and drinks. If you walk a bit more, head to the Unicef Child-friendly Park. This is where you can watch live performances. There are rest areas nearby . Also, there are many small and big museums so you can take a look around. Five  Must-see spots in Nami Island.1. The Central Korean Pine Tree Lane: A scenic path lined with thick pine trees leading to the center of the island.2.  Ginkgo Tree Lane: A must-stop spot for enjoying the splendor of vivid yellow ginkgo leaves during autumn. 3. Metasequoia Lane: A path lined with giant redwood trees, offering a magnificent scenery, one of the best tree-lined paths in Nami Island.4.  Riverside Paths: The wooden walks around the water’s edge where you can take in the stunning views of the lake and surroundingmountains.5. Gongsaengwon Garden (The Winter Sonata Statue): In this garden, you can find a statue of the main characters from “Winter Sonata”, a S. Korean tele-drama and a special photo zone for visitors to take souvenir pictures.

After spending about 2 hrs.here , we depart for Seoul which is about 55 KM away & it takes 1 ½ hrs.Reach hotel for night stay .—Night 2.

After breakfast, by 9 AM & proceed to witnessRoyal Changing of Guards at Gyeongbokgung Palace at 10 AM.  The ceremony is enacted with guards wearing colorful royal uniforms, carrying traditional weapons and playing traditional instruments.  The ceremony takes place twice daily at 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. except on Tuesdays. After this visit  Gyeongbokgung Palacefollowed by visit to National Palace Museumof Korea which is located just outside the palace grounds, and also the nearby National Folk  Museum, if time permits.  After leaving the museum we continued on foot to Gwanghwamun Square.

Few hundred yards away we can see the famous Cheonggyecheon Stream which is a 11 KM long beautiful stream, surrounded with trees and tall commercial buildings. It is located in the bustling city of Seoul. This narrow stream is filled with some rocks, fishes and small waterfall that will light up at the night-time. In addition, the walking path has been constructed and decorated well to allow visitors able to walk along the stream.Afterlunch, VisitTrick Eye Museum & Ice Museum– 2 hrs.Trickeye Museum Seoul is a gallery with big wall paintings or installations, which contain AR (augmented reality) effect and/or 3D illusions. Inside, two-dimensional paintings on the museum walls, floors and ceilings seem to pop out and come to life, and have been specially designed for photos.. Wander through various thematic halls, named Masterpiece, Fantasy, Adventure, Comic, Romantic, Bon Voyage and Illusion Painting. Snap photos that show you climbing out of a portrait, catching money flying out of a dump truck and heaving a huge piece of sushi out of a picture frame.

After lunch proceed to BanpodaegyoBridgewhich  is a two-tiered bridge over the Han River. Its lower level, called Jamsugyo (Submergence Bridge), is designed to be below water during the rainy season. In 2009, Seoul Metropolitan Government added the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain to the Banpodaegyo, creating the world’s longest bridge. The Moonlight Rainbow Fountain is the world’s longest bridge fountain that set a Guinness World Record with nearly 10,000 LED nozzles that run along both sides that is 1,140m long, shooting out 190 tons of water per minute. The bridge has 38 water pumps and 380 nozzles on either side, which draw 190 tons of water per minute from the river 20 meters below the deck, and shoots as far as 43 meters horizontally. The Moonlight Rainbow Fountain’s water jets are dynamic and can move in time to music creating spectacular ever-changing displays. Each show lasting 20 minutes.Hangang River Ferry Cruise, for about 40 Mts. is one of the best ways to enjoy the scenery around Hangang River that flows through Seoul. On the cruise, you can see the surrounding islands, Jeoldusan Park, the 63 City Building, N Seoul Tower, Jamsil’s Multi Sports Complex, and other famous tourist spots.

Visit the floating island Some Sevit, on the other side of the Banpobridgefor the Tubesterexperience.Tubester is a small round motor boat which fits upto 6 Passengers at a time. You may bring your beverages and snacks on board to enjoy the ride.Back to hotel    Night 3

After BF, Vacate hotel& proceed for a half day tour of the Demilitarised Zone. Travel from Seoul to Imjingak, only 7 km from the Military Demarcation Line.  Explore the key sites of the DMZ, like Dora Observatory. This observatory offers binocular views of North Korea’s fake town, Kijong-dong. The town was first built in the 1950’s to lure South Koreans to defect and move across the border. From visual observations from the South, it has been uninhabited with windowless, incomplete buildings since its construction. Next Venture into the Third Infiltration Tunnel dug by North Korea. Since 1974, four secret tunnels have been discovered crossing the Military Demarcation Line. (be sure to bring a sweater or shawl as its cold underground)They are believed to have been planned as a military invasion or infiltration route, and each tunnel is large enough for 30,000 soldiers to pass through in an hour. Lastly, head to Dorasan station, the last station before the DMZ.– Ginseng shop visit.

After dinner proceed to Airport to board the flight back home.
