Avenue Of The Stars

- This attraction is neat to see, but it will resonate to fans of Chinese film more than the rest of us. Located on the TsumShaTsui promenade in Kowloon, this is also a great place to view the impressive island skyline and Symphony of Lights. It’s modeled a little bit after the Hollywood walk of fame and tells the story of 100 years of Hong Kong film making. The big bronze statue of Bruce Lee here makes for another great photo opp.AVENUE OF STARS. The TsimShaTsui waterfront area next to the Star Ferry Terminal and behind the Museum of Art, the Space Museum and the Hong Kong Cultural Center. The pedestrian area starts at Salisbury Garden that is a small public garden and ends at the Star Ferry docks. This one features Sculptures, handprints and signatures of famous people in the Hong Kong film and music industry.
- A big light, music, and fireworks show that starts at 8 pm every day when the weather is OK.
- A pedestrian area for exercise and strolling. There are some benches.
Ride The Hong Kong Observation Wheel

Recently opened on the Central harbor front, the new Hong Kong Observation Wheel (or Hong Kong Ferris Wheel) provides 20 minutes of fun for all ages. The wheels spins around 3 times and provides excellent views over Victoria Harbour and is also within walking distance of the ferry terminals and Central hotels. One of the best times to visit is during Golden Hour when the sunlight hits the skyscrapers or during the Symphony of Lights laser show. But, really, any time is a good time.
Symphony of Lights
If you thought Victoria Harbour was a dazzling cityscape on its own, hang around for A Symphony of Lights — the nightly multimedia show involving more than 40 buildings on both sides of the harbour.
Named the ‘World’s Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show’ by Guinness World Records, coloured lights, laser beams and searchlights perform in an unforgettable all-round spectacle synchronised to music and narration that celebrates the energy, spirit and diversity of Hong Kong. There are five main themes: Awakening, Energy, Heritage, Partnership, and the finale, Celebration. The show is free for public enjoyment and no admission ticket is required.
You can listen to the show’s music and narration live nightly at the TsimShaTsui waterfront outside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, and the promenade outside the Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai. Live narration is available in three languages: English on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; Mandarin on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; and Cantonese on Sundays. You can also listen to the show’s music and narration by tuning your radio to FM 103.4 MHz (English), FM 106.8 MHz (Cantonese) or FM 107.9 MHz (Mandarin) or via mobile phone by dialing 35-665-665 (English) or 35-665-668 (Mandarin). Usual charges for phone calls apply.
Time: 8pm daily. The show lasts for about 13 minutes www.tourism.gov.hk
